Helping people make music they can feel, since 1978.

Eason Music School exists for one reason: to help students learn Chinese instruments properly and enjoy doing it. The way we teach has not changed in nearly fifty years — students come first, teaching comes before selling, and every lesson is taught by someone who is fully present in the room.

Welcome to Eason Music where music is shared, not just taught, and where every student, parent, and musician is part of our family.

We began in 1978 as a small family shop with a big love for Chinese musical instruments. That love has stayed with us through every learner, every rehearsal, and every note. Today, we teach, repair, perform and support music communities in Singapore and around the world.

Our lessons are warm, personal and encouraging. No stress and no pressure. Just steady guidance, clear steps, and teachers who genuinely care about your progress. Whether you are picking up an Erhu for the first time or returning to your Guzheng after years, we welcome you.

If your instrument needs tuning, setup, repair or gentle restoration, we handle it with care. Instruments hold memories. We respect that.

When music is needed to create atmosphere and connection, our musicians are ready to perform, from intimate solos to full ensembles.

You can explore our curated selection of instruments at EasonMusicStore.com .

Mr Tan started this school because he believed Chinese music belonged to everyone. That belief is still the reason a child trying the Guzheng for the first time today is treated with the same patience as a student preparing for grade eight.

WHAT WE DO NOT DO

We do not push instrument upgrades to unlock progress.
We do not bundle lessons into packages designed to lock you in.
We do not assume that being able to perform makes someone able to teach.
We do not believe that students fail to notice when their teacher is not really there
